The National Monuments Service's description
Marked only on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map where it is described in italic lettering as 'Monument'. It is situated on a broad, low hill in the grounds of Mount Pleasant House, which was c. 140m to the SW. There is no other information, and no feature is visible at ground level in pasture.
