The National Monuments Service's description
Just off the crest of the SW-facing slope of a low E-W drumlin ridge. Oval grass-covered area (dims 52.9m NE-SW; 35.3m NW-SE) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3.1-5.7m; int. H 0.2-1m; ext. H 0.8-1.7m), and a rounded fosse (Wth of top 3.7-5m; Wth of base 1.7-2.2m; D 0.3-0.9m) which is only traceable W-N-SSE. There is no identifiable original entrance, but the inner face of the bank has been removed (L 12m) at NW, and there is a quarry on the perimeter at SE. Rath (RO029-048----) is c. 45m to the WNW and rath (RO029-050----) is c. 200m to the S.
