The National Monuments Service's description
On a level landscape. There is an enclosure (RO029-029002-) at the centre of rath (RO029-029001-) which is within a concentric enclosure (int. dims 10.7m E-W; 9.4m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2-2.3m; H 0.2m) with facing-stones. Neither enclosure has an entrance. The internal features of rath (RO029-029001-) are probably ornamental and related to Strokestown House, which is c. 1 km to the WNW.
