The National Monuments Service's description

At the E edge of a plateau, and associated with field system (RO028-20602-). An area of about 4 acres (c. 1.5 ha) contains at least three house sites with associated yards and the cashel (RO028-2006001-), although the area has been damaged by quarries. It is S of the surviving central part of road (RO028-2006003-) and associated with the extensive field system (RO028-206002-). A house-site (int. dims 5.8m E-W; 5.6m N-S) defined by earthen banks (Wth 1-2m; H 0.1-0.3m) with outer drains (Wth 3m; max. D 0.7m) at S and W and the edge of a quarry at S. SE of the quarry is a house site (RO028-206011-) of two rooms (ext. dims. 16m N-S; 11. 5m E-W) with a rectangular enclosure (dims 18m N-S; 11m E-W) to its W. Immediately S is a second house site (RO028-206012-) of two rooms (int. dims 15m N-S; c. 10m E-W) with a rectangular enclosure (dims 22m E-W; 20m N-S) to its W. Another house to the S has been removed by a quarry, but its rectangular enclosure (dims 33m E-W; 20m N-S) to the W survives.
