The National Monuments Service's description
On a broad plateau with a slight E-facing slope. An meandering E-W roadway (Wth c. 8m; original L c. 450m) defined by earthen banks (Wth 2-3m; H 0.2-0.5m) survives in its central portion (L c. 170m), S of a modern ENE-WSW field wall, and its S bank truncates cashel (RO028-206001-) at N. It can be traced further E (L c. 160m) and W (L c. 100m) where it less well-defined. It is part of the field system (RO028-206002-) and contemporary with the settlement (RO028-206007-). From its W end it may have turned SW where one bank can be traced (L c. 200m).
