The National Monuments Service's description

At the crest of the S end of a broad NW-SE ridge overlooking a turlough c. 200m to the SW. Circular grass-covered platform (diam. 35.5m N-S; 33m E-W; H 0.0.3-0.7m) defined by a fosse (Wth of base 3.3-4m; D 0.2-0.7m), with a slight outer bank (Wth 6m; ext. H 0.1m) N-E-S. The perimeter of the platform is damaged by quarries N-E, and the spoil was probably added to the interior making a domed mound (diam. 16.5m N-S; 15.8m E-W; H 0.4m). Ring-barrow (RO028-127002-) is 10m to the E.
