The National Monuments Service's description
On a broad plateau and its S-facing slope. An area of about 250 acres (c. 1 km square) had relict field banks forming large rectangular fields (dims c. 100m x c. 300m) which connected with the field systems around Carnfree (RO028-056001-) (Herity 1988). Much of the relict field banks have been removed, except in Lissaculkia where they are generally unconnected with ring-barrows or ringforts and now cover an area of about 130 acres (c. 53 ha).
