The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle W-facing slope of the broad WNW-ESE Carnfree ridge. D-shaped enclosure or annexe (dims 77m NE-SW; c. 60m NW-SE) defined by a scarp (H 0.3-0.5m) is attached to the NW of rath (RO028-058001-) and almost containing the rath, but the enclosure is confined or cut by field banks, and both the rath and annexe are overlain by a NW-SE field bank.
