The National Monuments Service's description
Marked only on the 1930 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a small feature (diam. c. 5m), and situated on a gentle NW-facing slope. It is not visible at ground level in reclaimed pasture, and not known locally. It was probably a pit or a quarry.
