The National Monuments Service's description
Marked only on the 1930 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a D-shaped feature (dims c. 15m N-S; c. 10m E-W) cut by a road bank at E, and situated on a slight W-facing slope. This is an overgrown quarry.
