The National Monuments Service's description

Marked only on the 1930 ed. of the OS 6-inch map with a solid line as a D-shaped feature (dims c. 20m E-W; c. 15m N-S) with the straight side an E-W field bank at S. Situated on the NE-facing slope of a NW-SE spur. This is a triangular grass-covered quarry (dims c. 20m N-S; c. 20m E-W; D c. 1.5m) with the apex at N.
