The National Monuments Service's description
Visible on aerial photograph (GSIAP: M 83-4), and situated on a broad plateau in a low-lying landscape. D-shaped grass and rush-covered area (dims 30.3m WNW-ESE; 25.2m NNE-SSW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.5m) E-S and a scarp (H 0.3m) S-NW, with a fosse visible as a band of rushes (Wth 3-5m) E-S-NW. The entrance (Wth 3.5m) and causeway (Wth 3m) are at ESE, but the monument is truncated by a WNW-ESE field bank at N (L 22m) and is not visible N of this feature.
