The National Monuments Service's description
Towards the bottom of a gentle E-facing slope, and first identified by Gannon (1972). Oval or D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 71m N-S; 63m E-W) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.6m) NW-N and a scarp (H 0.2m) SE-SW, with traces of a fosse (Wth of top 3.2-3.8m; Wth of base 1.8-2m; int. D 0.2-0.3m; ext. D 0.2-0.3m) SW-N-SE. An original entrance is not identified. Two house sites (RO025-021002-; RO025-021003-) (ext. dims 4m E-W; 2.5m N-S: 12m N-S; 11m E-W) visible as grass-covered stony platforms (max. H 0.8m) are at the centre. The monument is overlain by a N-S field wall towards the perimeter at W and an E-W wall towards the perimeter at S, while a N-S field wall towards the perimeter at E has been removed.
