This platform (Wth 4.85m; T 0.35m) was recorded 0.10m below the field surface. It was orientated NE-SW and was composed of moderately well preserved tightly packed longitudinally laid roundwood and brushwood underlain by a transversely laid roundwood at the N end of the site. The elements were densely laid 0.05 to 0.25m apart. The roundwood and brushwood ranged from 0.08 to 0.11m and from 0.025 to 0.035m in diameter, respectively. The underlying peat was composed of moderately humified Sphagnum-rich peat with moderate Eriophorum and occasional Calluna inclusions.
