The National Monuments Service's description
Located towards the W edge of Cloonshannagh bog, c. 10m SSE of the platform (RO024-032----) and c. 13m E of platform (RO024-031----). The platform (Wth 5.7m; T 0.4m) was visible in a drain face, 0.23m field surface. It was orientated NNW-SSE and was composed of moderately preserved longitudinally laid roundwood and brushwood. The elements were laid parallel to each other, 0.01 to 0.40m apart. The roundwood and brushwood ranged from 0.06 to 0.09m and from 0.03 to 0.05m in diameter, respectively. One of the roundwood elements on the northern side of the sighting was worked to a wedge points with flat facets. The underlying peat was composed of moderately humified Sphagnum-rich peat with frequent Eriophorum and Calluna inclusions.
