The National Monuments Service's description
This togher (L 15m; Wth 1.75-2.2m; T 0.2-0.8m) was located at the W edge of Cloondhannagh bog, in a narrow part (Wth c. 650m NW-SE) between Caul at NW and an island (diam. 300m) in Cloonshannagh to the SE. It ran E-W c. 40m S of and parallel to the togher (RO024-024----). The site was visible at two sightings located in a drain face and on the field surface. It varied slightly between the two sightings and was composed of longitudinally laid roundwood and brushwood with overlying brushwood transverses. The elements were sparsely laid 0-05 to 0.10m apart, and sometimes up to 0.58m apart. The roundwood and brushwood ranged from 0.05m to 0.10m and from 0.01m to 0.05m in diameter, respectively.
