The National Monuments Service's description

On top of a low drumlin. Oval grass-covered area (dims 69m N-S; 42.4m E-W) defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Wth 3.6-4.2m; int. H 0.4-0.7m; ext. H 0.3m at W to 1.6m at N) with facing-stones visible at NNE, E and W (at W: original Wth 1.5m) and an outer fosse (Wth of top 5.2-6m; Wth of base 3.1-3.6m; D 0.4-0.5m). The stone-lined entrance (Wth 1.8m), now widened on the N side (Wth 5m), is at E, and 6m S of this the grass-covered foundations of a wall (Wth 1.4m; H 0.3m; L 4m), perhaps the remains of a house (RO023-181002-), run W from the inner face of the bank. Mound (RO023-181003-) is 6m outside the fosse at SW and rath (RO023-182001-) is c. 190m to the SE.
