The National Monuments Service's description
At the outer edge of a shelf on a gentle E-facing slope. Circular area used as a haggard (diam. 37m N-S; 34m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.8-4m; int. H 0.2-0.3m; ext. H 0.8-1m) SSE-NW which has been removed NW-NE and SE-SSE but incorporated into a field bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.1m) NE-SE. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. The field bank at E is now removed (Bing c. 2013). The possible ringfort (RO023-129----) is c. 160m to the NNW.
