The National Monuments Service's description

In a low-lying position on a gentle S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 36.9m E-W; 36.8m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4.2-6m; int. H 0.5-0.6m; ext. H 1.4-1.8m) and outer fosse (Wth of top 4.5-5m; Wth of base 2.2-2.7m; D 0.5-0.9m) which has been extended into a pond SE-S. There are entrances at WNW (Wth 1m) and NNW (Wth 1.8m) which are probably modern. The large enclosure (RO023-085----) is c. 190m to the SSW.
