The National Monuments Service's description
Marked as an island (diam. c. 10m) in the small Drinaun lake (max. dims c. 250m E-W; c. 120m N-S) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. The lake has is reduced to a small pond (diam. c. 20m). Situated on a flat low-lying landscape, no monument is visible at ground level.
