The National Monuments Service's description

Just off the crest of a drumlin on the gentle S-facing slope. Oval area (dims 34.5m N-S; 27m E-W) with apple trees defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 2.7-3.3m; int. H 0.2m at N to 0.7m at W; ext. H 0.4m at N to 1.4m at W) which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.6m) planted with coniferous trees NE-SE. There is no visible fosse, but there is a modernised entrance (Wth 3m) at SE. Farm sheds are built on the perimeter at E and SE, and some spoil is added to the perimeter N-NE. Archaeological testing (07E0399) immediately to the NE failed to produce any related material (Carey 2010).
