The National Monuments Service's description
Marked as a circular feature (diam. c. 15m) on the 1837 and 1914 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a low E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 15.3m E-W; 14.5m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.2m at N to 0.4-0.6m generally) with five mature deciduous trees on the perimeter.
