The National Monuments Service's description
Gannon (1972) describes a cairn with a hollow at the centre, which she thinks is probably natural, as it is 8m E of the rath (RO022-083001-). It is not mentioned by Herity (1987a, 137) and may have been a clearance cairn, but it is no longer present.
