The National Monuments Service's description
On a rise on the floor of and at the head of a slight W-E valley. Circular, domed grass-covered area (diam. 31m WNW-ESE; 28m NNE-SSW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2-3.5m; int. H 0.3-0.4m; ext. H 0.5-0.7m) NNE-S, and a scarp (H 1.3-2m) elsewhere. The entrance (Wth 4m) is at SE, and an arc (C 9m) of the base of a stone wall (Wth c. 0.4m) survives at the centre, perhaps a hut-site (RO022-061003-). A fosse or natural depression (Wth of top 13.3m; Wth of base 5m; D at W 1.1m; D at E 1.3m) separates this monument from rath (RO022-061002-) to the E.
