The National Monuments Service's description

On a rise on the S-facing slope of Rathcroghan plateau. Circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 4m; H 0.1m) defined by a slight fosse (Wth c. 4m; D 0.1m). The N Mucklaghs (RO021-042015-) are c. 120m to the SW and the S Mucklaghs (RO021-042016-) are c. 150m to the SSW. (Herity 1983, 131; 1984, 129, Glenballythomas 20; Waddell 1987-8, 35, No. 52)
