The National Monuments Service's description
On a knoll on the N-facing slope of Rathcroghan ridge. The barrow (RO022-056035-) is within an oval enclosure (int. dims 36m N-S; 23m E-W), which was probably defined by a stone wall that is now removed but visible as a parch mark (Wth 1m) in very dry seasons. This enclosure is truncated at S by the N bank of the road (RO022-056032-), and is within a larger outer enclosure (RO022-056053-) at the base of the knoll. (Knox 1914a 19-20; Herity 1983, 130; 1987a 134, Toberrory 7; Waddell 1983, 39; No. 39)
This is a National Monument in state ownership: No. 294.
