The National Monuments Service's description

Towards the bottom of the E-facing slope of Rathcroghan ridge. The church (RO022-056041-) is at the N side of a subrectangular enclosure (dims 70m E-W; 40m N-S) defined by an earthen bank, best preserved at W (Wth 2m; H 0.3m) with internal and external facing stones, or a slight scarp. There is no evidence of burial, but there is local knowledge of burials being uncovered here. (Herity 1987a, 140)
