The National Monuments Service's description

On the crest of an E-W ridge. It is described as 'Lissabully' on the OS 6-inch maps. Circular grass-covered platform (diam. 47.5m N-S; 47.5m E-W) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 5-6m; int. H 0.5-0.7m; ext. H 1.8-2m generally to 3.1m at W) which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.7m) WNW-NE. This is separated by a complete rounded fosse (Wth of top 8-9m; Wth of base 3.5-4m; D 0.5-1.3) from an outer bank (Wth 1.5-3.3m; H 0.3m) that survives ENE-S-WNW (max. ext. diam. 71m E-W). There is a widened entrance (Wth 7m), but no causeway, at ENE. Rath (RO022-040----) is c. 150m to the NE.
