The National Monuments Service's description
There is a reference by J. O'Donovan in 1837 (O'Flanagan 1931, vol. 1, 83) to three crosses on mounds in Gort na Croise in Kilcorkey where a market was held until c. 1770, and to the discovery of a hoard of coins nearby which contained coins of the Stuart kings, but none later than James II. The mounds remain unlocated.
