The National Monuments Service's description
On a rise in an undulating landscape. Circular grass-covered platform (diam. 35.5m N-S; 34.6m E-W) defined by a slight earthen bank (Wth 5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.8m) N-NNE and by a scarp (H 1.6m to 2.2m at W) elsewhere, with traces of a fosse (Wth of base 2-4m; D 0.2m) N-NNE and W-NW. The ramp entrance (Wth 4m) is at SW. Archaeological testing (07E0788) c. 30m to the W failed to produce any related material (Henry 2011).
