The National Monuments Service's description

Marked only on the 1929 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a polygonal wooded enclosure (dims c. 45m E-W; c. 40m N-S), and situated on a level landscape in full view of Rathmoyle House c. 1km to the NNE. Subrectangular grass-covered area (dims c. 35m N-S; c. 40m E-W) with old tree stumps defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.8m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.8m) with some scrub and an outer drain (Wth 1.2m; D 0.4m).
