The National Monuments Service's description
On a shelf on a S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 23m NNE-SSW) defined by an earthen bank (at NE: Wth 6.2m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1m) and flat-bottomed fosse (at NE: Wth of top 9m; Wth of base 3m; D 0.5m at NNE) NW-E-SE and a scarp (H 0.4m) SW of a NW-SE field bank and drain which bisects the monument in Brackloon townland. The fosse is traceable as a complete band of rushes (Wth 6.4m), and an outer bank as a scar SE-W-NW. The entrance (Wth 1.8m) is at NE, and the interior is overgrown NE of the field bank and townland boundary but in pature SW of it.
