The National Monuments Service's description

At the NW end of the SE arm (dims. c. 1km NW-SE; c. 200-250m NE-SW) of Errit Lough. Described in 1988 when the water was lower as a submerged cairn (SMR file). An area of reeds (diam. c. 15m) is now visible in the lake.
