On a gentle E-facing slope, c. 400m from Lough Boderg to the E. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 39m E-W) defined by the base of an earthen bank (at W: Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.3m) WSW-ESE separated by a fosse (Wth of base 1.9-2.3m) from the base of an outer bank (at E: Wth 4.6m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.3m) WSW-ESE which survives intact (Wth 4.2m; int. H 1.3m; ext. H 0.9m) WSW-NW. There is an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.8m; D 0.2m) NW-ESE, but there is no visible entrance. An ENE-WSW field drain crosses the site towards the perimeter at S, and the perimeter cannot be traced S of this feature.
