The National Monuments Service's description
At the W end of an E-W drumlin ridge. Circular overgrown area (diam. c. 26m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5-5.5m; int. H 0.65-1m; ext. H 1.5-1.8m), and an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.5-3m; D 0.3-0.65m) S-NW and at NE which is surrounded by a field bank S-E-SE. There is no visible entrance. Archaeological testing (02E1036) immediately to the SE failed to produce any related material (Read 2004b). Rath (RO017-173----) is c. 160m to the ESE.
