The National Monuments Service's description
On a steep N-facing slope. Marked as a D-shaped embanked enclosure (ext. dims c. 50m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and as a fragment of a bank (C c. 50m) SW-N on the 1914 ed. Described as an overgrown earthen bank (Gannon 1972), and visible now as a scarp (H 1.5m) at N (C c. 30m). The interior is overgrown. Rath (RO017-034001-) is c. 170m to the SW.
