The National Monuments Service's description

At the W end of a short E-W ridge. D-shaped overgrown area (dims c. 25m NNW-SSE; c. 20m ENE-WSW) defined by a low scarp (H 0.9m) and outer fosse (Wth of base 3.5-4.2m; D 0.6m) NW-E-SE. The site is truncated by a NNW-SSE field bank at W and an ENE-WSW lane at S. Rath (RO017-010----) is c. 50m to the E.
