The National Monuments Service's description

John O'Donovan writing c. 1837 records that a fragment of a church (RO016-123001-) survived here (O'Flanagan 1931, vol. 2, 28) situated on a level landscape towards the S edge of a plateau. Nothing survives of it now within a wedge-shaped graveyard (dims 63m E-W; 33m N-S at E to 51m N-S at W) defined by masonry walls and containing 18th-20th century headstones and one burial vault. The bullaun stone (RO016-123003-) is in the NW part of the graveyard.
