The National Monuments Service's description
On a low E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered but poached area (diam. 20m E-W; 19m N-S) defined by a gapped earthen bank (Wth 2.65-3.4m; int. H 0.1-0.35m; ext. H 0.6-0.65m) N-E-SSW which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.65m) elsewhere, and an outer fosse (Wth 3.1m; D 0.2m) NE-SE, visible as band of reeds (Wth 3-4m) elsewhere. There is no visible entrance. It remains unplanted (c. 2012) in a coniferous forest.
