The National Monuments Service's description

At the crest of the SE-facing slope of an E-W ridge. Circular grass-covered platform (diam. 8.5m N-S; H 0.2m) defined by a fosse (Wth of top 2.5m; D 0.2m) and an outer bank (Wth 3.5m; ext. H 0.2m). There is no visible entrance (max. ext. diam. c. 17m). Archaeological testing immediately to the NW failed to produce archaeological material (Read 2009d). Rath (RO016-061----) is c. 80m to the W.
