On top of an E-W spur. Circular grass-covered but poached area (diam. 36.3m E-W; 35m N-S) defined by a gapped earthen bank (Wth 4.15-4.7m generally to 5.5m at N; int. H 0.2-0.5m; ext. H 1.4-1.6m) reduced to a scarp (H 1.1m) at SW, with a fosse evident as a band of reeds (Wth 3.4m) SW-N-SE. The stone-lined entrance (Wth 2.3m) is at ESE.
