The National Monuments Service's description
On a flat, low-lying landscape, and first identified by M. A. Timoney. Circular stoney mound (diam. 7m NE-SW; 7m NW-SE; H 0.4-0.5m) with an indentaion at NNW. Fulacht fia (RO015-060002-) is c. 10m to the N and fulacht fia (RO015-060001-) is c. 15m to the NE. It remains unplanted in a coniferous forest.
