There are traces of an enclosure visible as a scarp or bank (Wth c. 4m; H 0.2-0.4m) NW-E (diam. c. 120m) around the Dominican friary of Cloonshanville (RO015-030001-). (Swan 1983, Pl 13)
This is part of a National Monument in the care of Roscommon County Council.
