The National Monuments Service's description
Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a subcircular partly hachured feature (dims c. 100m N-S; c. 80m E-W) ENE-S, and situated on a level landscape on the E bank of the S-N Breedoge River. It is not visible at ground level. Earthwork (RO015-014001-) is on its perimeter at NW and earthwork (RO015-014002-) is on its perimeter at W, although the feature might only be a drainage channel. Archaeological testing (04E1144) c. 20m to the E during 2004 failed to produce any related material (Read 2007d).
