The National Monuments Service's description
On the gentle S-facing slope of an E-W ridge. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 29m N-S; 25.3m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.7-3.7m; int. H 0.4-0.6m; ext. H 0.5m at N to 1.9m at E). The fosse has been backfilled NW-NE and re-cut as field drains (Wth of base 1-1.4m; D 0.6-0.7m) elsewhere. There is no visible entrance, and the remains of an outer curving bank to the E (Gannon 1972), perhaps the perimeter of an annexe (RO014-047002-), can no longer be seen.
