The National Monuments Service's description
On the crest of the S-facing slope of a low WNW-ESE ridge. Described as a circular area (diam. 34m E-W) defined by scarps (Gannon 1972). It is now a subrectangular platform (dims c. 26m E-W; 18m NW-SE) which has been cut back by quarrying at S, the insertion of a NNE-SSW farm track at E and the straightening of field boundaries at N, and it is now defined by artificial scrub-covered scarps (H 0.6m at E to 2.1-3.6m generally).
