The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in improved pasture on a gentle SW-facing slope. It was first identified by Susan Curran as part of an M.A. thesis with University College Dublin using a LiDAR survey dataset commissioned by Leitrim County Council and the National Roads Authority. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 32m N-S; 32m E-W) defined by intermittent traces of a low earthen bank (at NE: Wth of base 7m; Wth of top 2.8m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.3m) W-NW, NE-ENE and SE-S. The bank is absent NW-NE and S-W, and there is no visible fosse or entrance. A NNE-SSW field bank that was just to the W has been removed.
