The National Monuments Service's description

Located on a slight shelf on a NE-facing slope with the SW-NE River Shannon c. 120m to the NW. It was first identified by S. Curran as part of an M.A. Thesis with University College Dublin using a LiDAR survey dataset commissioned by Leitrim County Council and the NRA. This is a truncated circular and grass-covered area (diam. 45.7m NW-SE: 44m NE-SW) defined by an earth and stone bank (at W: Wth 4m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.4m) at S and SW-W, and by a scarp (H 0.5m) W-N-E. The enclosure is truncated by a NW-SE field wall (L 19m) at SW and by a NE-SW masnory wall (L 15m) at SE. There is no visible fosse or entrance. A relict field bank (Wth c. 3m; max. H 0.2m) curves from the permeter at S through the centre to the perimeter at W but does not survive outside the enclosure.
