The National Monuments Service's description
On two stones of the surround over the doorway in the N wall of an 18th or 19th century cornmill, now disused. The digits 1640 are incised across two of the stones, but while they were probably carved in situ it is unlikely they were intended as a date. (Keenehan 2006b)
