The National Monuments Service's description
The parish church of Killummod, listed as Killaunach in the ecclesiastical taxation of Elphin in 1306 (Cal. doc. Ire., vol. 5, 224), is described as ruined in the 1650s (Simmington 1949, 156) and in the 1830s (Lewis 1837, vol. 2, 157). Situated on a level shelf. Nothing remains of a church within an irregularly shaped graveyard (RO011-106002-) (max. dims 50m N-S; 40m E-W) defined by masonry walls. Enclosure (RO011-105----) is c. 70m to the NNE.
